WEATHER STATION DETAILS Located 18 miles North of Sparks (Washoe County) Lat: N 39 ° 38 ' 12 '' ( 39.640 ° ) Lon: W 119 ° 43 ' 12 '' ( -119.720 ° ) Station Elevation: 4533 ft

This station began collecting data in 2008. Current monitoring equipment consist of a Lacross 2310, a rain gauge and anemometer.

The computer system is a Dell B110 Intel Celeron Processor 325 (2.53GHz) with 1024 MB RAM, Windows XP Pro, Weather Display software and with Battery back up for all equipment in the station. The station is fully automated and data updates every 5 minutes 24 hours a day.
