Isolated thunderstorms will develop across far western nevada and northeast california late this afternoon and persist into the evening. Coverage may increase after 6 pm. The storms should have limited rainfall along with dry lightning strikes. The dry lightning strikes could spark new fires, driven by gusty outflow winds to near 50 mph.
